Welcome to SVNRel. By downloading, installing or using the SVNRel app, or by using this website at svnrel.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the website.

1. The app

SVNRel is a macOS application that helps you release versions of WordPress.org plugins and other Subversion (SVN) repositories. You are responsible for the projects, credentials and files you connect to the app, and for making sure you have the right to publish to the repositories you use.

2. Free now, and pricing may change

SVNRel is currently offered free of charge. We are not focused on charging for it right now. However, we reserve the right to introduce paid or premium plans, features or licences at any time, and to change what is included in the free version. If we do introduce paid features in the future, we will make that clear before you are asked to pay. Continuing to use the app after such changes means you accept them.

3. Your account and the information you give us

To download the app you provide your name, email address and phone number, and we create an account for you. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.

4. How we use your information, including marketing

By providing your details and using SVNRel, you agree that we may use the information you give us (such as your name, email and phone number) to operate the service and to contact you. This includes marketing and promotional purposes, such as telling you about new versions, updates, features, offers and other products or services from us and our partners. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by contacting us at support@svnrel.com. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains this in more detail.

5. Licence

The SVNRel app is distributed under the MIT License. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app or the website, including by attempting to break security, distributing malware, using the service for unlawful purposes, or releasing content you do not have the rights to. We may suspend or remove access for accounts that breach these terms.

7. Your responsibility for releases

SVNRel runs commands such as svn and rsync on your behalf. You are solely responsible for reviewing what you publish, for your version numbers and tags, and for any changes you commit to a remote repository. We are not liable for any loss, overwrite, or unintended publication that results from your use of the app.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SVNRel, its developer and its sponsor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the app or website.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of SVNRel after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
